Time of Quarters Empty Time of Quarters

Post  wizgoblin Thu Aug 05, 2010 12:18 pm

Hey guys,

I had asked Brocco about this last night and he said it could be up for discussion. Since we are only playing 1 game a week (which is fine with me since two or three can be very difficult for some people) would anyone be open to playing longer than 5 minute quarters? Perhaps 7 minutes? 5 minutes on advanced clock is like a 3 minute quarter and sometimes people can have drives that could take up a whole half. It also helps lend to more realistic stats with longer time periods.

I would prefer 6 minute quarters without accelerated clock.

i say 7 without acc clock cause somtimes people can take up the whole play clock anyway by finding a play and making ajustments at the line of scrimage
